juvenile KING KONG PARROT.. BABY once only.. i just want to see how it looks like when its you..

i DONTT want a regular blood parrot.

I don't think you can really tell before they fade whether or not they will be the nice red colour that most people want their king kong's to be, but you can def. tell what the future body shape will be, at least in general terms. A parrot is a parrot shape from birth for the most part, the SB gene is fairly apparent in young ones.

I have a pic here of my most Kong-shaped parrot baby, before he faded for example.

He didn't fade to red, but instead he faded to Synspillum colours as his parents were parrots with lots of syns I'm assuming. This makes him more of a SB rainbow king than a KKP but I do think he has the best shape of a short body fish; he has the SB gene but has no notch and his mouth is not deformed, which is the quality I believe that differentiates a good KKP from a blood parrot.
 
If it looks like a blood parrot that "doesnt" look like its being choked by an invisable string than its a KKP.
Nice fish Noobshoe. Great shape for being so young. I dont think thats the average KKP. Seems to be a cross.

*BTW slim chances of finding one of these in stores. They usually have to be ordered.
This is what to look for.
 
If they can close their mouth they are usually KKP. A parrot with a deformed mouth is usually just a regular BP. I have two regular BP's. One is about 8" to 9".

you can check my one of my old threads where i asked the i.d. on a juvie kkp, it has pics of mine. they shouldnt have the indented head and should have fully functionable mouths.
