First off sorry for bringing up an older post. But I wanted to say Hi to mike. Looks like we fish the same water.
I also wanted to give my two cents. This isn't ment to be an argument just an observation on my part.
I fish muskie on wolf full time. If your " tiger" catches where in say the last ten years you didn't catch a tiger. Your not the first to think so. The last documented tiger caught in wolf was that record 24 pounder. Illinios quit stocking tigers in wolf ( Indiana never did ) ages ago. Being a hybrid tigers grow fast and die young.
The muskies in wolf lake were stocked back in 99. They are a very nice barred strain with very nice stripes. But they are pure strain. Also wolf has a population of pickeral that many people mistake for baby tiger muskies. easy to make.
