I was just wondering if anyone has come up with an explaination yet as to why Silver Arowana get Drop Eye. Or if anyone knows how to cure it? This has always fascinated/annoyed me, so was just curious if someone has discovered something new in the last few months.
Any one figgered out the cause or cure for Drop Eye yet?

Kinda like the 'Skank eye' from the "New Guy"? Haha. Really though, it is annoying, makes me not want to get an arowana even though I love them because I know that eventually, it WILL get drop eye. Hate it.

blacks are safe. i think jars, lei's, and afros are too. ive heard of asians getting magic eye though
I might have to look into just getting a black then...haha. The wifey loves them. Just hate that drop eye!!

So body structure? Do they get it in the wild though? There has to be more variables to the equation....perhaps food, tank size, and age affect it all?
