saber tooth tetras are a whole other fish.
payaras i call em.
bick toothed tetras,or exodons,are mean bastards.
theyll nip fins and attack silver fish.
they can be kept with fish that dont have long fins and not silver.
plus they have to be tough.
these guys should be kept in a school of at least 10.
theyll easily pick each other off one by one.
the more the better.

yes these are some lil' meanies. i kept like a school of 12 before and they aggressively killed everything i put in with them (which was only various feeders). in addition to the fin nipping they would ram the holy heck out of their prey then eat the scales that were knocked loose until the fish was nekkid. almost seemed like torture.
20 will definitely put them in full war mode on anything in the tank. they do well in large groups. i started out with 5 and they weren't overly active but once i upped their number to a dozen they would immediately attack other fish on sight.
