I'm vettingva single 12 in my ext. Cab s10 and I'm looking for about 1000-1200 watt rms/nominal power right now I'm its a toss up between the Db drive k9 and the power acustik mofo series but I'm open to here if any one has any preferances or suggestinos to others

Was really into this a few years ago. I had a 01 mustanf putting out around 2200 watts. I have a few awards. Got out of due to buying a new car and was tired of stuff falling apart in the car. Best was 161dbs at competition. Always been a rockford fosgate fan myself. Don't know too much about what's out there now. A single 12 always does the trick. I prefer a sealed box over ported

I like the ported cause my areas going to be a smaller one and imma need the extra air space and IMO rockfords kinda fell off cause there over priced cause they used to be good but that's just what I think and my last system was two 10's in a camry that was hittin 138 db's on 620 watts

Same here I use to compete in iasca, usac, meca, dbdrags and slap. If you asked this over 5 years ago I would have told you to go buy a digital designs sub and be done. Good luck and enjoy your hearing while you can. LOL.

I might go with the dd they look like they'd be nice and everyone that's reviewed them seems to like them thanks for the tip

Ran a single 15" DD just for fun at one dbdrag a long time ago. All I can say was I put guys to shame with 4 15" subs. Granted it was a ported 6 cubic foot box. LOL.
