give me some info if so. tank size, max size, foods, ect. its a dragon knifefish?

heres a clip of 2 large dragon knives http://www.neotropicalfauna.com/media/duckhead.avi

they are usually shipped by the pair as thats how they are often found in the wild.females sort of look like a black ghost as they dont have the large head like the males.usually eat feeders only but can be trained to eat frozen prawns etc.if u can find a pair they should be ok together provided theres enough space for the female to retreat if the male gets aggressive.max size should be about 16inch havent seen any bigger then that although the fish in the clip looks bigger not sure about the size.

oops sorry i just realized i typed a mistake.meant to say 14 inch instead of 16.never seen 1 larger then about 12-14 inch or so.

dayuuuum! i thought it was just a photoshop or hoax by the pic, but the video proved me SUPER wrong! they do resemble a Ghost's body and a head of an alligator gar! ryt? Maaaaaaaaannn, this is a NICE! fish!

Parapteronotus Hasemani (formerly A. Anas)

-usually called a duck knife in the trade. They are usually seasonal, as they are caught when they come out of the deep to breed during the flood/rainy season (look for them in the late spring/summer). I have seen them as low as $65, but they're usually about $100. Most of the importers can get them for you, if you're willing to spend the money.

that is a WEIRD head lol

Looks kinda cool in a wacky way.
