Looks like a big one is headed our way. I am in Houston and we are about to get hit hard. I hope everyone along the coast is prepared and stays safe.

We have food, water and booze. My house has not flooded in the last few flood events but I am most worried about a prolonged power outage.

We still have power. Tons of rain all night. No bad winds. But wife wife's parents live in Sienna Plantation. There was a tornado there last night that damaged houses and a school. Their house is fine but it was close enough for them to hear it during the night. I hope it didn't hurt anyone.

I'm not sure where all the water is coming from but I hope it recedes soon.Things are pretty bad out there.

I heard earlier that even some of the shelters where people have evacuated to are now starting to flood and I saw a horrifying photo of a nursing home with residents sitting around in chest deep water.

......and now,the looting has begun in some areas.
