maybe 7 years ago lost all power for 3 weeks do to an ice storm, living on still water hill at the time. wood stove was our heat and cooking, trout pond our water and flushed the toilets. all that was easy, cooped up with 6 kids age 6 to 16, no tv. no games? bah i wanted to eat them!!!
 
Lol when those hunger pains start to kick in bad enough and there is nothing else to eat they'll tear into em like they were Hungry Jack or Encore TV dinners.
 
Lol,sounds like its time to do a little grocery shopping if that's what you are down to.

how many kids you have, and age?
 
I don't prep enough but knowing natural disasters happen and living in CA where earthquakes are the norm, I do have survival food and water set aside to last my family and I a couple weeks if we need it.
 
just sayen they chow the top romen and be happy? why would a miss with it. stressed enough as is with out a screaming kid on my hands cause he not like his meal.
