Any RV Owners Out There?

We found the RV we are going to buy, right in our home town!

It is a 30' 2001 Thor Infinity Widebody Class A motor home. It has a Triton V10 engine. We are going to take it to our mechanic tomorrow and if everything checks out we're buying it!

Mechanic? Will he know if all of the appliances work correctly? How and if the awnings work? Leveling jacks? Plumbing? Does he know how to look for dry rot? There is ALOT more to an RV than just the drive train! Are the tires new? Tires rot and blow very easily if they are 8 years old! Think!

We drove it to the coast (about 100 miles each way) for a family reunion, it drives like a dream!

So far everything works great. I had to purge the propane lines to get the fridge working on LP, but everything else started right up. The kitchen faucet had leaked a bit, so I replaced it with a Moen.

Next project: Build a mega-carport for it...
