Any special cautions for ropefish with ich?

ICH is gone from my tank and my rope eels did not seem to be affected by the cure. My TSNxrtc hybrid is also gone, he brought it to my tank, and it ultimately killed him. All of the LFS tiger redtail hybrids were infected and one of their fish died too, so I got my refund. I upped the temp from 80f to 86.5f and added some extra aquarium salt (I normally put it about a tablespoon/10-15gal). I started by using Warley's ICH AWAY but it did not seem to be working. So I upped the temp and added salt. I'm not sure what the cure was but I'm sure it was the combo. Not one noticeable drop of ich on any of my fish! Mission Successful!

First large fish death-scooping an 8-9in specimen out of the tank was very hard. It it very different from scooping a couple of dead feeders out- I hope I never have to go through that again.
