This really doesn't make a lick of sense. They were having all the problems in Maryland, yet they are the only state they are now legal in......

yes the fact is true most sh's are legal in Md though you can't import them, and i see no way they could ever be legal there being that snakeheads don't readily reproduce in local waters from my understanding. in places like virginia and such i have heard of some being unaturally introduced and they flourished. just thought for the sake of it-- the species maculata and argus are illegal in MD.

Yes. Because when they are entered into a closed body of water they take it over! Had a few problems here in Colorado as well.
