Hello all!

First post ever, so here we go. Have a group of 13 bedotia madagascarensis that have had one successful hatching of fry approximately 5 months ago (reared 4 to sub adults) while in a quarantine holding tank. They have since been moved to there permanent 53 gallon tank, and has yet to spawn again. All parameters are as follows:
Temp: 77.54
DO: 94.0
pH:7.20
Alk: 7.4ppm
NH3: 0.00
NO2: 0.000
NO3: 3.4

From my research, I haven't found many articles on breeding these fish, though I did find that people have had some success making artificial mops from yarn and corks, which I have done, as well as making a mat of sorts with the yarn that sits on the bottom, which I have had much success with other South American rainbowfish.

Thank you in advance! Any suggestions are appreciated! :)

I would say keep them in trio's, one male and two females. Schooling is fine for decoration purposes, because too many males can disrupt breeding. Placing a mop in the tank would encourage breeding, but also make sure your tank is well planted.
