I am trying to figure out a way to get a relatively large tank up three flights of steps by myself. Any suggestions? I was thinking about trying a dolly, but I am worried that the pressure will crack the tank.

I would suggest making a new thread asking for help moving a large tank in the Weehawken area. Most of us on here have moved big tanks and know how hard it can be to find people to help. I would help you out if I was local.

My advice would be to not try moving it alone.

How big are we talking?

DONT ! Lol if you can get any friends hire a moving company.... I work at a moving company Got my 180 into my basement with one buddy.... Plus they have large straight trucks, big moving pads for protection, straps and dollys.... How big is the tank?

dont do it...find help...i hurt my back putting a 170g on its stand by myself....you'll drop your nuts moving a big tank upstairs by yourself.

I will take your advice. I know how hard it can be, it took me and two of my friends and a lot of maneuvering to get my 125 up my winding staircase into my apartment. It wasn't fun, but when I got it set up it was worth every bit of the work.

Yeah, 110 is pushing it. 75 is easy, but 110 would be hard to get your arms around. Knock on a neighbor's door. People are still real.
