move the plants and add a big piece of driftwood.

how do you do the black water? I think that awesome. an the boulders to much eh?? I thot so myself an what kind of center peice? I have 3 geo "reds" an 2 Gold sevs an a pleco an a black fin shark I'm going to have to get rid of kuz my lfs store sold it to me as a freshwater fish when i found out that they actually need brackish when they mature

well I removed all the rocks today including the "boulder" (lol) an put sand in but how long will it take to settle man is that stuff messy I hope it doesnt hurt the fish. I'm alittle nervous.......... pics as soon as the the sand settles.

real plants maybe some easy ones like java fern or swords.

a nice large piece of tangled drift wood. wood will help with tanins if you want blackwater look. you can add some dead leaves if you want really dark water.

It wasn't to hard for me to make "Black Water". Just needed a bunch of leaves and some time.:)
Should look good in the tank.
