Retracting my earlier comment, didn't know your age sorry. Don't get ink until you old enough to make a decision you can live with for the rest of your life. I am 31 y/o and have lots of ink, trust me I would redo some things if I could.

wait until you're at least 18, and even then make sure it's something you're committed to for life (or an easy cover up which is rare)

everybody has something they regret but you want to minimize those and keep the good spaces open until you're ready.

Im going to tell you, what i tell every person i've met who has wanted a tattoo...

Choose a design & placement area, think about it for at least 2 years if you still want it afterwards, and if you will honestly still love it when your 80, after its faded and hardly recognizable.. The i would say you could consider getting it...

All too many times i've seen people walking into a tattoo parlour to get coverups for tattoos they got when they were young and regreted, or because they acted out and didnt think carefully before getting work done and came back in 6 months later to get covered with somethjng else...

By the way I have an appointment next friday to finish my 3/4 sleeve. When the red goes down I may throw up some pics. It's a Jonah and the whale byzantine style thing I have been designing and getting work done on for years.
