if you still want that "spinning" idea, try a spa jet fitting. most pool supply companies carry them

I will try the Stockman Standpipe.

I added a 6x8 pad on each of the opposite ends of the drip plate and wah-lah!! it drips fine now!!

Now all I have to do is find a prefilter to fit my overflow.
