I just wanted to say that alot of people mistake a colombians defensive behavior as aggressive when thats not really the case. It does take alot more to 'tame' them down but it can be done with work. Unfortunately most people dont put in the necessary time to get them to that point which is why you always hear about how "crazy and aggressive" colombians are. People buy them because theyre cheap tegus without doing any research and then dump them when they dont want to cuddle 3 days later.
I myself have a large colombian and try as much as i can to get more correct info out there about them.(Included a pic of mine)
As far as argentines go as long as you can properly care for one get whatever color you like best as theyre all basically the same however ive heard alot about reds having more shedding issues than the others. Also they grow faster than people expect so i would suggest getting started on the adult cage sooner rather than later.
