Any tiny chance this could be a Lacerdae?

The folds for intermedius are different than this fish. Also would need a head shot and body shot too. We don't got too much info.
Intermedius may have 4-6 pores also. There's an overlap. But no jaw banding.
If ur paying mala prices. If bought then I think it's worth it as its not mala enough.

This fish base colors are indeed reddish.
Unfortunately the point of origin cannot be determined. The LFS owner just said "all from Latin America".
This fish is about 5 - 5.5 inches size. There is another wolf that I asked the owner to catch out and I took a pic - the folds met in a V shape.
I am actually looking for a Lacerdae and will pay market price for it but this species is almost impossible to get here. Hence trying my luck with any wolves I found and trying to convince the sellers to "flip" then over for me to take a pic. Hahahaha.
I might pick this guy up and raise it to see the differences if it is proven to be "anything but Mala". Will post more pics (good ones) when I go to get this guy later this week.

Just finalized a new 4 X 4 x 2.5 tank - odd square shape but will be using it to house my AUL for life. Perhaps will add some docile monsters in there as well soon.
