Do lots of research before buying and get a big @ss tank. 8 feet long and 3 feet wide, or maybe just get a swimming pool.

Seriously though, Arowanas get big real fast and if doing 100 gallon weekly water changes sounds good to ya then learn more and eventually get one.

is it cool if i throw blacks into this learning source?
if i ever get an aro, it's gonna be a black.

BIG tank and Plenty of water changes........Clean water is HUGE.Same with a BIG tank and PLENTY of GOOD foods.

Don't skimp on the filtration. Feed high quality foods, try to stay away from feeders (goldfish, rosies). Make it a habit of doing water changes weekly.

Once you get it all down to a science..sit back and relax and enjoy your aro! :headbang2

cover any and all holes of your tank no matter how small...
