hey huys , i got a lil baby silver three days ago he's in a 180g by himself and about 5-6" , he'll be going into my 540g when finished ...

he hasn't eaten since i got him , i got him ordered in from my lps , got him in the bag he was shipped to the lfs in got him right off the truck , ive tried feeding him/her mini sized hikari gold also small crickets but shows no interest , hes very active constantly swimming back and forth up and down , any tips to get him to eat? or should i give him time to adjust before trying to feed again?

thanks guys

mine didnt eat for about a day at like 12"
urs might just be too young try to pellet train him by feeding him feeders first then throwing the pellets in the water so he thinks its a feeder than he'll eat it and start eatin pellets.

but i think urs is just too young and needs to train
although now i can never get mine to eat krill, feeders, or brine so he just eats pellets lol.

uR li'l fella might juz be still adjusting 2 the water conditions... give it some time... i've had fishes tat didn't feed for a week... den after it stabilized den it started 2 grow monsterous appetites... keep us updated... cheers...

He's probably stressed. Give him a few days to adjust.

give it time to adjust, later on they will start eating like a pig.. my aro eats frozen market shrimp, stuffed with tera aro pellets.. its ok with him though!! he doesnt notice the pellets inside the shrimp

thanks guys , should i stil keep trying to ad food everyday? i tried blodworms last night he ate one but spit it out , i also tried market shrimp thawed out and shoped up he made an attemp by opening his mouth and sharging but pulled back before he got to it ...... just a little worried as he still a lil guy and hasn't eaten ..my green asian i had ate right away when i got him .... man i miss him :(

i fed my silver aro crickets for the first week then started weening him off it by feeding him hikari food sticks that you can find at any pet store. he did starve himself for about a day or two then started eating them
