Any Way I Can Get Sand Outta My HOB?

I am a victim as well of sandy HOBs lol
I just ditched the AC110 and got myself a nice fx5

I literally cannot get the sand out of it...

Man I wish I could get an fx5.... and that makes me nervous! I have an AC 110 on a tank with sand... the intake is up pretty high though...

Apply a dry q-tip and dig into that hole. Then dry the hole. Shortly after insert other side of q-tip and make sure that it is WET. Hopefully the sand will come out. Rinse well.
