Any way to train your piranha to be less skittish?

Good looking group you got there. Just be patient, they'll settle in but sometimes it can take a long time. Especially if you keep changing your routine....lights on, lights off...just pick one and stick with it. At 18 months they're actually still kinda young, yeah they should be sexually mature now but wouldn't call them "full adult" just yet. Like tlindsey tlindsey said spend as much time as you can with them and a year from now you'll have the pack of killer p's you're looking for. Good luck bro.

I have my 2' 4 RBP with a few tiger barbs, they are not skittish at all. They follow me along the tank with the tigers. Will be shifting the RBP to a bigger tank. They are not troubling the TB cause i have them well fed only the occasional chasing that lasts for a split second. If they behave the same after this weeks water change its safe to say that they wont be skittish.(Hoping for the best) :D
Will let you guys know if it works.

Yeah I have put the lights on a timer and only every feed them when the light is on. Hopefully that will have some effect.

I initially had mine in with tiger bars. Tiger barbs seem like a good fish to mix with young P's. However the tiger barbs started to get picked off when the P's got to about double their size. I am not sure how tiger barbs would do with fully adult P's. Mine are totally ignoring the small amount of black neon tetras I have in with them.
