Yes.
Make sure its locked very well. Also if the media baskets are loaded that will slow flow. What exactly are you running in the baskets?
Is the impeller magnet scuffed or wore?
Is the impeller magnet housing (where it spins) damaged or worn?
When i had my xp4 i had to fiddle with it a few timees before it sealed and ran properly.
When u latch it do it diagnoly so u latch top left 1st bottom right 2nd top right 3rd and bottom left 4th.
Also take the rubber seal out of the top where it seals to the canister, clean it/where it seats under water making sure there is not debris. Reseal it with pretroleum jelly.
Another tip is to make sure the hoses are gunk free and the canister has to be min or 3 or so feet beloow the tank,i dont know it exactly off hand, make sure the intake extensions are tightly sealed. If the tubes already primed just lock it in place and let it fill up with tank water, wait 5 min and fire up a little shake when full will help clear air.
Look on the top right of the canister (where the water enters, it would be ur top left latch area if facing front) when running with a bright flash lite, if u see bubbles then air is entering with water so the can has air leak, likely where the can seals to the motor housing. Make sure that top plate is even on all sides with a flashlite, ive noticed when filling it can get loose. U can see threw can while its running and narrow the problem down. I noticed ur using a spray bar so the flow isnt that much, take it off and snap a pic so i can eyeball flow
Make sure its level! And that all baskets are perfectly horizontal, the xp seris is tricky but when running its awesome. If none of that works seal the all the orings with pretroleum.
