Of all things I put my boat in the water this week  . It was all safe up on blocks in my yard, now its bouncing around the marina. I guess it could be worse.......It could have sank already. Also the water is only 3' higher than normal at LOW TIDE :WHOA:

the lake near my house now has rapids..and is overflowing like 5 feet...its nuts but know that means the fishing will be better

At least you are an optimist.. thinking of the good.. hope everyone is okay tommorrow when things settle down..I have a little water in my basement because we did alot of water changes and all the drains are filled with so much snow melting.. :grinno: :headbang2 But at least all the fish are doing good.

Not so bad here in Brooklyn but my parents live in Westchester and it's one hell of a mess due to flooding.

I heard Westchester was hammered by flooding:(

These are two pictures from my buddies house where I went to rescue his harley with my pickup. Keep in mind he lives near a smaller creek. The car in the pictures has blocks under the front end in an effort to save the engine as the water began to rise quickly.

That is totally devestating.. I cannot amagine what he feels this morning as i only experienced a small fraction of the storm compared to what he and others have endured as i am looking at this picture ....... and it looks like it will be there for awhile.. so much water... awful!

Those pics are crazy...I hope everyone was alright. We got hit pretty hard in NE Mass, but I think NH got it worse that we did. My girlfriend and I live on the Merrimac river and that flooded pretty good. Our neighbors are now part of the river. They have been running sump pumps for a couple of days now. Luckily we are one the 10th floor so we didn't get any water damage. We have slider doors instead of windows and we have a couple of the screens floating down the river due to the wind.

Well my street is a river and my basement has an inch of water in it. What a ****ty turn of events.

It is truly depressing ..no doubt about it.. we ended up with some water in one small part of our basement ..where the outdoor steps lead up... i am thank ful today is sunny because i have had enough!! Not that you can do a damn thing about mother nature.. no matter where you move theres always some sort of bad weather or worse weather .. or something that ruins other wise paradise.. I am very sorry for all the bad times everyone has gone through... hope brighter sunnier days are in the forecast for all very soon.. :(
