The real problem with clown loaches getting picked on is they are scaleless and if you have a fish with teeth biting them they can easily get open wounds that are prone to parasites and infection. Some clowns can indeed be aggressive, I have a video of two of my clowns fighting when they were re-establishing a pecking order and it's surprisingly violent (but they don't have teeth that can bite so injuries are usually pretty minor from the subocular spines).

the torpedo barbs are the best barbs I've ever kept, unfortunately I sold them and ever since regretted not keeping them for a show tank.

Keep in mind, they're active swimmers, and is super sensitive to sudden water changes, so do the water changes slowly if I have a chance of keeping them again I will with no doubts and will be putting them in the clown loach tank and keep my MOB in line. My clowns are absoute terrors lol.
