I have a 3 foot Fimbriated moray and I gave my Tesselata to my cousin when he hit about 3.5 foot and was as thick as my forearm. The tesse now lives in a 500 gal cube tank my cousin keeps in his basement.
How did the Fimby and the Tesse get along? I have been contemplating one but worry about the size difference. My Fimby is right at 3 ft and mean as a rattlesnake.
I would suggest a smaller growing yet aggressive species rather than a huge species like tesselata. Perhaps black edge or one of the Muraena (brazilian horned moray, hourglass moray)
