I have looked, but never kept one. The common name I have seen most for this species is the reedfish. I have a picture of an albino reedfish on my computer, and it is an odd looking poly.
anybody have ropefish?

I have kept them and even at 18"+ the biggest fish you had to worry about was a platy, easy keepers. Watch for gill flukes, easily cure, and worms, also easily cured, in wild caught individuals. Most are captive bred if under 20"
