I know I'm late...
I drove East, West, North and South for 2 yrs. found some nice shops but like ya said, couldnt buy anything. Fam actually took care of the fish. I was gone either a month to 3 months at a time.
As much fun as I had, "There's no place like home..." Now I take an occasional travel gig.
