Anybody keep Pumpkinseed and Goldfish together?

sight breaks are important in a sunfish tank arrange your plants and driftwood with that in mind you could easily keep 4 in the maybe even 6-7 depending on filter and water changes.
That's good to know. I guess they don't get much bigger than about 5 1/2 inches so I can maybe get a small group of them.

Are there any other fish that would work with what has already been suggested here? Since I am working with only 125 gallons I will probably end up with about 4 fish so they all have plenty of their own space in the pond. So far I really like the look of the longear sunfish and the yellow perch.

Yeah u might not see it except at feeding,if u want a fish u can see better go with some yellow lab or other cichlids during the warmer months.
Cichlids are beautiful but I think I'm going to stick to fish that can survive the winter in the pond.

I dunno that I'd do the pumpkin seeds and goldies in only 125g. Not sure you'd be able to keep enough of each to keep them comfortable.
