We have about a foot long specimen of M. uranoscopus and we're wondering what would be a reasonable price for it. Not really dying to get rid of it; it's the kind of fish that we like to keep on display so people can see something unusual. We're in Fort Myers, Florida and wouldn't really want to ship it. Can you imagine what those sharp scutes could do to a bag?

Jeff Rapps has some in stock, just got one 3 days ago.:)

Rapps would be good as a reference point for a price as any..I like them and had two that were over twelve inches but I got tired of inactive fish.

Very cool and uncommon fish, j just picked up some from rapps ad well. Unfortunately big cats just don't have the price tag of some others, even though these guys take so long to grow.

You could probably get around $100 if you found someone looking for a non juvi. Niche fish though.

After I feed the rays they come out vacum up all the crumbs and head back to their corner cave.
Outstanding,I was wondering if you provided any hides as I could not tell by the photos.BTW I recently picked up a fire eel.
