I have seen a few of my fish fart. Namely the bullhead and emerald brochis. In fact, down where they collect the brochis they look for bubbles coming to the surface, the fish often swim up, gulp air and release on their way down.

As for cracking up, I can't say I have cracked up over a fish fart...ever.

I have a cow fish in a service account that has a major flatulence problem.

Yup. they do fart. And it made my day. My florida gar did that. And he doesn't eat any pellets. He only eats live foods.

My Discus used to fart a lot if I was feeding them a lot of flake foods....I think diet plays a major part....

lol. Now i'm always looking and hope to capture it on video.
