Anybody seen this type of vieja?

Hartwegi has an over bite. The fish in the pic has a lower jaw that protrudes slightly out further than the upper

Right, but the OP was saying it had vertical bars when it was stressed. The fish in question is believed to be a hybrid with possibly amphilophus(lending to the facial structure), and OP was curious with what other vieja it may be crossed with.
 
Hawetgi has over bite, which is unique among Viejas. The characteristic markings dissappear once Vieja reach maturity, which makes it even harder to ID because many viejas share similar color and body shape. What do you think the Vieja in my Avatar is? I've been told he is a synspillum, bifas, hawetgi, fenestratus or just a hybrid. Here is a hint. He has vertical bars when he was a juvie.
 
OP's fish's body structure looks a lot like my 4 inch Trimac. I'd say it's hybrid for sure.

The fish in the avatar, I'd guess it's a Fenestratus.
