Kanyes the s**t most like him round here, all the metal head were playing stronger na dgood life etc. seroiusly.
His graduation album wasnt really rap more like hiphop. his first and second album was more rap. he is the savour of hiphop!!!!
hes also very clever on his videos and music, like his new video flashing lights, listen to the lryics and it matches the video in a clever way.

I did't say blacks were better rap listeners, I was just explaining why I assumed whoever listed tribe was white. Anyway... I was writing in the forum like I talk to my friends and maybe I shouldn't. Forget about the race thing, I feel I'm right but I shouldn't have brought it up. Really, I should have left off with just the fact that I hate fake people. It's not about listening to crap... I have no problem with that... It's being fake that gets to me.

I wasn't offended in the least, I just disagree that race is a factor.
I've lived in places that were mostly black, and then places that were mostly white, like now, and there are fake people no matter what. People in general have horrible taste in music IMO, but they probably think that about me also, lol.

its not music........
if its done by computers etc... and there not a instument used its not musc and junk.... there are a few exceptions to the rule but they are club music and i do like to party so some things have grown on me....

The only thing is that i've noticed (alot where I live) that SOME people will list rap that the trends say is cool as thier favorite.

Couldn't agree more. This sort of thing just deprives music of what you really like.

Day 1. 10 conformists at the high school hear Eminem.
Day 2. Those 10 people suddenly find that Eminem is thier favourite singer.
Day 3. All they ever do is listen to Eminem and rave on how good it is.
Day 4. Kanye West brings out a new album.
Day 5. The cycle begins all over again.

because you dont know real rap. listen to A Tribe Called Quest. thats an example of good rap. theres better rap than what the media gives us. listen to rap in the old days because HIP HOP IS DEAD.

Could not have said it better my self, go pick up some old KRS One, Too short, Scarface the list goes on.... then put on some of todays rap and compare it, there is no contest. Unfortunately Hip Hop died years ago right around the time every one and there dog started rapping about their clothes, cars, bling and money, it used to be relevant and creative but now all sounds the same and lacks depth, it has become the new get rich quick scheme in my eyes just like the boy bands of the 90's

Kanye is a descent hip-hop artist but he's on one big ego trip. If he doesnt win, its the "white man's fault". If he wins its "finally a black man gets his day" It just seems that he plays the race card all the time.

His "Stronger" video was awesome though. The look of "Akira" was amazing, just wished the video was longer with more story.
