Anybody? Post your pics and experiences here . .. want to know if you were successful and if so, how. If not, why and what would you change so that it can work.
I have a fh community now. I have two chocolates, one electric blue, two angelicus cats, two gt's,three fh,s,one texas/fh.I have no problems with them. You have to get them when they are small and put everyone together at the same time. :D

I have a 220 gallon community tank with 3 adult male flowerhorns and six adult female flowerhorns with no problems. The only FH that gave me any trouble was my kamfa, when I tried to introduce him to the community tank he attacked everyone, so he has his own tank now. As far as the other FH's losing color because of a dominate male thats not true mine are all very colorful and the fact they are together seems to even make them more vibrant !!! I think the dragon strains tend to be more accepting of tank mates but space has alot to do with it to.

i agree. the color comes out in a group. i have 3 jk, 2 red monkey 1 red devil/fh, and 2 fh/escondido in my tank. 3 males, 5 females. now a bunch of jk fries.

I have never got a group of flowerhorns to do well in a tank togeather they always one would chase the others and the others would turn almost black in color but my tank is only 125g also so in bigger tanks I guess it works. I would love to see pictures of the flowerhorn community tanks.

in general kamfas are much more aggresive as compared to a zhen zhu (dragon

strains,kamalau and etc).

i think flowerhorn community tank is really not advisable. not unless you got a

monster size tank. even with good feeding habbits they are really that agrresive.

ideal is solo on a 75 gal tank minimum. . . . .

Have you seen hked24's FH community tank its only a 125 and it seems to be working fine for him I think its hit or miss on this one!
