My fish like it when I play guitar. They all gather together in the corner of the tank nearest my bed and stare. When I play the lower bass strings, they start wiggling. They don't seem to notice the higher notes as much.

When I play violin, it's a different story. They like the low notes just fine, but the high ones send them swimming in the other direction.

They would love my 7-string then!!!! They probably would go nuts over it. My gecko enjoys music too. Now my ex-rhythm guitarist's ex-girlfriend brought her little rat-dog into band practice once. My brother was messing around on his keyboard with this dog barking setting, and the little neurotic dog came it trmbling at the sound of the "symphony" of big dogs. Absolutely hilarious!!!

Feeders don't seem to mind my 2 JL 10's in my car.....

Haha... aww. I remember the one time my old band practiced with a dog on the premises, it was a disaster. He loved music and he'd run around excitedly when we played, but the drummer was "his human" so he'd get too excited eventually and jump on the drum set.

Then a week later the band broke up since I broke up with the guitarist.:nono:

But my fish are better music appreciators than most humans. They like classical better than rock; so I play them lots of old stuff like sarabande, romanza, Bach, Sanz, Carulli. So cute to watch them "dance." My lil bro loves it.

Inner band relationships a never a god idea. How many drum heads did that dog break? I find it funny how certain animals like certain kinds of music better. My buddy's Eclectus parrot loves techno, and he's a little raver when he hears it. My gecko appreciates the blues alot, which I find kinda funny since he's green.

Hey, it's not easy being green.

Actually/amazingly, the dog never broke anything. He's a collie-terrier mix, so he's mostly hair. He did scuff the finish in multiple places, though, so our drummer was pretty mad. But it's his own damned fault for begging to bring his dog over.

Animals crack me up. My brother has a turtle that likes to listen to everything, especially my brothers playing Halo on XBox Live. Then, I have two gouramis in my smaller tank. Whenever I play guitar, they come over to where I am and watch. When the music starts, they stick their little feelers on the glass and try to get to it. So cute. One thing my fish seem to hate is hip hop. That's ok; they get it from mommy.
