When I had Oscars they used to pull on my fingers and I've been bitten by my sharks a few times.
 i hope you mean freshwater

when my dad tried feeding my oscar, the oscar jumped out of the tank and bit his finger. it scared the **** out of him, it was halirious

I got bit by a small (5-6 in) Siniperca Chuatsi aka Chinese Perch. Even at that size it has quite a bite. I did not bleed but there was a red mark. That fish would attack anything the touched the water. I always had to be careful with my hands cleaning that tank.

And my puffer fish. Have not been bitten yet, but the fish tries.

aros, channa micro, channa marulioides, dat micro, dat ntt, dat at, endli, ansorgii, jardini, gg, p-bass, rtc, tsn.. haha.. well.. that's what you get for hand feeding..

oh, and like 2 sp of puffers (no big ones)..

Back when I had a small 8" Arowana for a bit, he used to bite me all the time when I'd feed him. I think I usually fed him dried krill which I had to hold on the surface for him and he got used to biting me that way. Before long, I used to just put my fingers in the tank and let him bite me just to show my friends how awesome he was lol.

Got bit on the thumb by my Oscar (was about 7 inches at the time) while hand feeding bloodworm blocks to him, He luckily only got most of the nail and a teeny bit of skin and didn't draw blood :)

My red wolf almost bit me two days ago. I was feeding him strips of smelt, and when I ran out of smelt, I was going to pick up a few small pieces that he didn't eat and I had my girlfriend distract him but he noticed me and snapped at my finger and only scraped my nail.

That was a close one!

At work I tried to scare some african cichlids out of their cave with my hand and one bit me inbetween my finger and the nail. Ouch!

G. tile got me during a hand feeding. Stings for a while they are mildly venomous.

Mine always goes for the hand as well. Mine is about 15" and he tends to twist into knots when trying to swallow larger food. He also does not let go. I am not looking forward to the day I get bit by mine.
