Lol. I'd love to see that beast during feeding time. Must be so fun to watch.I had one but have not seen it since it was moved to my big tank in Nov 2012.
Bought at 7.6cm in Oct 2010 from That Fish Place in North Tonawanda New York.
Measured 15cm in Jan 2011
Measured 30cm in Sept 2011
Measured 63.5cm in Nov 2012
My leerii might have something to do with me not seeing the attu again.
I thought you had decided this fish was a Wallago micropogon. ( which until 2004 had been placed in the leerii species)Oh, Heres a photo of my Leeri. Slightly over 20"

Tbh. I am not sure now it is larger.I thought you had decided this fish was a Wallago micropogon. ( which until 2004 had been placed in the leerii species)
I have noticed in huge specimens aswell that some have a enlongated head and some have a more compact head aswell. It is quite confusing lol.The head and mouth seem more elongated on that particular fish. Seems like my leerii's didn't look that long in the jaw. More compact I suppose, is the adjective I was looking for to describe the business end of my catfish.
