this is your fish?nice pattern. yup,and it is still c.marulius. it still juvenile, if it grow bigger then most the time will look the same. same like c.micro, pattern is different within themselves.
 
i'm also starting to get confused..as for c.maruloides it's easily identified..marulia...erh..maybe na_cheers is right it might be under d d same species name but diff variant..diff. country..d LFS here have 3 diff types of marulia..n they told me it's from indonesia (1st pic posted), thailand (2nd pic posted) n india (3rd pic). adult indonesia (4th pic) adult india (5th pic ) any comment ?

yup, all the fish r under marulius group.channa 1st picture and 4th picture know as channa spec mekong, or sometimes put under channa leucopuntata(still uncertain) it found in myanmar,cambodia and loas,rare in thailand.(love to get this type) can i get this type from u? how big ur lfs selling this type? last time xian leng johor selling this type quite expensive. r u sure the last picture(marulia3) is adult? look like juvenile to me.

FYI na_cheers..the LFS here is selling RM8-00 each at the size of 15cm. (marulia2) and pic marulia selling at RM12-00 each also approx. abt 15cm in size. If u really want I can courier to u but i couldnt dare to guarantee it will be alive ..so let me knw..
