I have that same type of snakehead, which i asked a few months ago. The lfs calls it "5-star" toman, dude to the 5 silver ringed spots on the body. It now looks rather like a marulias now that mine is bigger, but i think i will have to take a picture of it.
anyone can identify this snakehead to me?

i have an idea..buy whatever species u came across at the LFS which claim to be 5 star toman, jalai, maruloides, marulia be it from thailand, indonesia etc..then take pic of it and compare..i'm going to do that soon..cos too many commercial bred..anyone has 2-3 kinds of the species around 1' then we can see the difference
hermandrum..nice maruloides..with 6 flowers band..what about d other side of the body ? have d same amount of black band ? tat day i went to d LFS saw a 1' maruloides with LH & RH 6 black bands but sad to say...d fish was blind...injured by hook...so i did not purchased it..only rm20 !!
hermandrum : rm20 is about 1ft in length..u should get more if d LFS has such a quality juvenile..how i wish i'm there..any 7 flowers band ?
