Perhaps "red tiger" P.Motaguense pretty much like having a smaller dovii, with a different color scheme, but with simular smarts and the same take no prisoners dentition.

Thanks Dmaan, I looked at the B. Midas. Its not a bad looking fish, but it's one of those that are nice but I wouldn't want to own one.

Well looks like the Jag one. I got a call from lfs I use asking if I could drop by in the next 30 mins. To make it short, I grabbed this little guy yesterday from a guy that wasn't happy when lfs told him $8.00 store credit if he wanted to trade it in. After talking to the guy for awhile he said give him 20 buck and I can have the fish since its way to big for his setup. Works for me.
I'm hoping after I put it on the same diet as my piranhas he colors up nice. Also I hope its not done growing since it was in a small tank and from what I could get it ate feeders a few times a week. So right now I have it in a QT tank.

No problem! I do prefer the Dovii over a Jag, but I have always loved and kept Jags as well. Jaguars are just much more economical to keep. Looking forward to updated pics!
