Anyone Collect Old Fishing Reels?| Post Here

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I own some of the newer penns(battle, sargus, etc), their nice but don't think they will stand the test of time, like the older models(they're not designed to)

IMG_9619.JPG Picked up a new reel. Its a later model Mitchell 308a, the graphite model. I buy everything local, I'm not a serious collector; tend to buy the reels I fished with or saw other people fishing with as a kid.

image.jpg A sport king model 69. Idk how old it is or anything but it was $5 and dirty so I bought it and cleaned it and now I don't use it but I like it lol

Some nice engraving. Its manufactured by the Bronson Rod Company out of Bronson, Michigan; dates to the 50's
