Anyone Currently Keeping Orientalis or Asiatica??

HI Vandecruz,

i'm keeping fife channa orientalis "Kottawa Forrest A", its the same variant shown already.
But there is another variant from Kottawa that lloks different (Palle has them).

My Kottawa A's are grandchildren of fish that were collected in Sri Lanka by Dr. Ettrich, and I think all others in this thread are related very close to mine (same origin,same grandparents)

They are still small, 9 to 10 cm in length, get about twice the size

HI,

they are in an unheated tank, I thnk its anout 25 to 27 degree (its summer ,even in Germany) the PH should be a bit lowered by oak leaves, but theyr doing fine even in hard Berlin water, were mine have been bred.

Beautiful orients, everyone.

Kept a couple asiatica awhile back. One of the meanest most agressive species I'd have to say. This pair were kept together at the time.
