I have ordered some xmas moss, echinodorus, balansae, as well as some ferns on my original order with aquaticmagic. After which I changed my mind to go without the ferns.

To my surprise that they contacted me and ask me if I am still interested, and they gave me a good price for that. I can't resist saying yes... lol

Waiting for the plant delivery now. :D

Cool, keep us posted as to the quality of the plants and how long they take to get to you!

I have gotten the plants yesterday - it took 8 days for the shipment (I ordered on last wednesday). The plants are surviving well - it was shipped in 2 envelopes.

I notice that the balansae was shipped without the leaves. I didn't expect that and contacted aquaticmagic - and i got their reply saying that they have removed it to reduce shipping weight, and the leave will melt once I put them into my tank as it is a different water parameter for the plant to adapt. I was told to wait for 1 week or so for the new leaves to grow.

I have checked the product page again, and they have actually stated in the description clearly. I have missed it out. Well, since they have offered a reship/refund if no leave is growing after 1 week, I am still happy with the overall service.

:) I have done a price compare with the local shops, and I have saved about $15 to $20 from the deal. Hope that they will keep the free shipping promotion forever.

Good luck!

Lol someone asked me the same question in PM...

Quality of the plant is good - but I take no risk so all the plants are in the QT tank and I will keep them there for 1 week.

No snail or insect, but the xmas moss are grown submerged (I could see visible root structure - which exist only when the moss in its submerged form). I dont see much soil so I guess they have spent time washing it. So if you need to setup a tank urgent - you will need to take note since submerged plant needs about 2 weeks to get itself adapt to the immersed form and start growing.

Hope it helps.
