anyone diy a venturi ?

Not all venturi's have to look like the ones pictured in the link. There are a few mandatory principals that have to be present to call something a venturi.

I don't want to get into a long pedantic debate about what a venturi is and how it works, your answer satisfied the OP's question about how to do it, so thanks for being helpful, but it is not actually a venturi, and it works on a totally different principle than a venturi or an eductor does.
