kinda wanted to incorporate the 2 together, like a 55 at the bottom over a 75 with a 42" over top of that. Push that all against the wall and you got yourself a decent looking entertainment stand thing. just wanted to see if anyone did it cause im looking for some ideas instead having everything seperate.

It would be cool but your TV would be quite high. What would be better is to have 3 columns. On the right have 3 tanks high, on the left have 3 tanks high, and in the middle, have one larger tank on the bottom with the TV on top. Hmmmmmm Thanks for the idea,, I'll post pics when I'm done. LOL

Not necessarily, I don't mean to dispute your comment but with the proper precautions and planning it could work.

Another thought would be to have the 3 columns but just two large tanks on each side maybe 100gl 5ft. tanks and have cabinets on the bottom and in the middle maybe something like a 75 or 90 that is only 48" under the TV. That would be cool.

Imagine something like this on either side only with 100gl tanks and the smaller 75 or 90 in the middle under a TV but all tied together as one big unit. You could even put some type of shelving or something under the TV for your cable, DVD, etc. but make sure it's above the tanks. That would suck to have them leak down to the electronics.

That stand is NICE.

It wouldn't be hard to separate the two and seal off the area where the electronics would be. Just don't keep any water above the electronics.

If you build it in 3 separate sections and tie them together with moldings to hide the seams, you wouldn't have any issues with the top two tanks leaking into the middle section where the electronics would be.

unless ur a noob like me!
it is beautiful but i wud get electrocuted in 10 minutes w/ that thing
