Anyone else a geographical purist?

I'm all about species from the same region only together. I can't hate on what other people want to do with their tanks but if my girlfriend says she wants a fish from Asia in with my south Americans I tell her no way Jose! When I first entered the hobby I thought whatever, they look cool. Who cares. But now it irks me to see it. I'll make exceptions if say its a p. Scarlare collected from this system but the other fish are from that system and there are also scarlare there, so I'm not super anal. Mostly continent and if possibly same region.

the majority of my tanks are NA natives so I have no trouble with the mixing of continents, but my 80% African biotope has a few splashes of asia and America in it haha but only because I love clown loaches and my gar isn't big enough to join the 310 NA native community yet.

I guess I'm bad, I have plecos with goldfish, cories and an albino rainbow shark. However, Ive had no ill effects. They get along fine.
