anyone else have a "backup" tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i always keep a live tank up and running for holding... 110gal... never know when you will need it for a breeding pair or rehab...
looks pretty dumb with plants and no fish though... thinking about tetras until I need to use it again.. something that won't eat my plants.

I have a 20g in storage, but thats mainly because its not practical to set it up with my current living situation. It might be turning into a sump when I get my SW going in the next couple months anyways :)

Its probably a good idea to have a backup, but I think a large rubbermaid would be much more practical.

Good news, I got the 210, it can come in the house once a few other projects get completed, a couple months or so of work so likely won't even become a backup tank

I have a 1,000 gallon above ground pool that I have that I got from heb for $18 when the season had ended. It just sits in its box in the shed but I have used it twice already.
