I used to have some. Cool little crutters, sticking there "fans" up and the brushing them across their mouths. I haven't had them in a long time.

They are cool to have in a tank. I've had this one for roughly 9 months...

were yours red like this all the time? When I first got it it was a pale beige and then turned into what you see.

I've never seen them this color! Kept one for a while and I wish it did that!

Good cleaners! Could be what they eat that's bringing out the color?

I've randomly kept them in the past as well... but never seen them red like that... brown / beige colors quite common... but that red almost looks like a cherry red shrimp red...

Interesting, thanks for the replies and pics...

good thought, it could be what he eats.

He started out just like F1 Vets. nice ones BTW!

Yes Homer, he's almost as RED as a fire shrimp but with his/her size it's awesome.

Regards,
Steve

I've had a few of these guys before. Really cool to watch them clean their fans. Always in the same order; top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left. Lol one of mine had a slight red tint but I would still call it brown. Nothing like yours.

I've never seen these before... They're awesome. They'd be sweet in my crayfish tank....

So how big do they get?

The females get ~3 inches, males ~2.5 inches.
