Anyone else have fish get sucked up a filter and survive?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a powerhead that was strong and a fancy goldfish got stuck to it and literally sucked the life out of it.

I removed the bottom half of the strainer to get it closer to the slate bottom, didn't stay tight and loaches swam in!-)

Take a right on Michigan and a left on randolph and three blocks down to the right. 15$ parking in the garage.
oh ok thanx....the guy at the gas station told me take a right on Carter, go down to the end of the block, take a right on Lincoln, go down to the end of the block and take a right on Somerset then go down to the end of the block and take a right on Carter

I've had quite a few khuli loach surprises during water/filter changes they seem to do quite well up in my filter resevoirs lol also had baby convicts and guppies survive the ride. Hooking up a sponge pre-filter is a really good quick fix that promotes healthy bacteria growth.

I had a khuli loach live in a Juwel internal filter for years, I hated him for it as well; used to just hide in there constantly lol.

Also on a somewhat related note, I accidentally sucked up a giant danio through the python; then had to reverse the flow, he was a bit retarded after that experience, and got eaten by my Oscar shortly afterwards :(

In my old discus tank i always found neone and black neons living in my overflow box as well as some ghost shrimp lol
