Anyone else like to feed their piranhas whole fish?

I love raising reds. I just don't like how they look full grown.
 
Tilapia and shrimp (if that counts), salmon on the rarest occasion.
 
Shrimp plus pellets ;)

Haha cuz I poke a hole in the shrimp and stuff NLS in them, if you look closely you can see the red line of pellets inside the shrimp, for some reason only 2 of my shoal will accept NLS, so this is how I compensate, 1x per week power feed!

That is genius! I do a similar thing when i try to get my dog to take his heart worm medicine, i dont know why i thought it couldnt have been done with fish as well, but i think ill try that..
 
I currently feed my 6 rbp cut up chunks of whiting from the store that has the bone in it. They will eat the bone closest to the tail but it gets too big further up. I also throw in whole bluegill around 5 inches long. They eat the whole thing including the skull. The rbp are currently around 7 inches and thick. They also eat bugs I find in the yard as well as shrimp, oyster, and worms.
